From 3 months of age

Nurserytime has 2 baby playrooms, accommodating 6 babies in each room, and a separate sleep room, which is continuously monitored whilst babies sleep.
Each room contains bright, colourful toys and equipment, which are used to stimulate and educate the children to their own development level.

Babies are encouraged through social meal times to become independent in their eating and drinking ready for the move onto our Toddler group.


From 1 to 2 years of Age approx

Toddlers and Tiddlers occupy 2 rooms housing 6 children in each room
Free play is encouraged using the resources specifically designed for the toddlers needs, to develop at their own pace creative skills such as art, craft, music and movement. Language development is encouraged using songs, rhymes, games and stories throughout the day.

2 - 3 year olds

Planned themed activity programmes are designed by staff, to provide free play and structured activities throughout the day, encouraging shape, colour and basic counting skills, pre-writing skills, music and movement, and role play to develop their imaginative skills.

Use of rhymes, singing and stories are used to encourage formation of new words and extended vocabulary.

Potty training is fully catered for by our staff.

On approaching 3 years of age a small number of rising 3’s will be placed into a separate smaller group to enhance their basic skills before entering our Topper group.

3 - 5 year olds
Staff : child ratio 1 : 8


The nursery is registered with Ofsted and the Buckinghamshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership to provide structured learning, based on the Early Learning Goals.

Freedom of choice is available at certain times of the day, to enable our curriculum to be fully workable, and enables our staff to offer, Information technology, gardening, music, physical play, cooking, role play, etc within a structured environment.

We organise trips off the premises for our Topper children. These outings are mainly within our vicinity, visiting and exploring our local environment. Parental permission is sought before each and every outing, and children will not be taken off the premises without the necessary paperwork being signed by parents.
